Not only do I think Ayu could pull off Minako with looks and talent alone, but Ayu writes her own lyrics, and if you’ve ever bothered to look some of them up, you’d know this girl is deep. Her lyrics range from fun and wild, to angsty, and even to lyrics about people sticking together. But not only is she deep, she’s also fun and querky (Watch her behind-the-scenes footage). Sorta Fluent in English (as is Minako in the anime-canon) , and she also seems to have bad luck in the romance department. Not only that, but she seemed to have a lot of trouble starting her career. I believe she was 19 years old when she debuted with Avex. Before that, she did a couple of acting stints and modeling gigs, but nothing stuck. POST DETAILS: Posted on March/17/2013
